We take design seriously here at Boldly Inspired. We strive to dedicate all of our energy and resources to you and your project. If for whatever reason, we feel that your project is not a good fit or beyond our abilities, we’ll let you know.
In order to give each of our projects the utmost attention, we choose to take on a maximum of 2 projects at a time. If there is no one else in the queue, we should be able to take you on right away! If we’re already working on other projects, we will email you to let you know and give you a tentative date on which we may be able to begin working with you.
The actual design process will typically take anywhere from 2-4 weeks, although this can vary widely. The timeline will depend on communication, the complexity of the project, etc.
The design process begins with the completion of an Inquiry form. On this form, you will provide a basic outline of your project. From there, we will discuss your design as needed. If we decide to move forward, you will then fill out a Design Questionnaire and we’ll begin the design process. We will typically create a simple first draft mock-up for you to critique and go on from there. We will go through as many rounds of revisions as needed to bring your design vision to life.
At the beginning of your project (after your Design Questionnaire has been submitted) we will send an invoice for 50% of your total cost. This serves as your deposit. Once you approve a final draft, we will send an invoice for the remaining 50% of your total. Your design will not be installed and/or released to you until full payment has been made.
Deposits are refundable, but only if we have not started working on your design yet. After that point, refunds are not available. We do not request the final 50% of your payment until your project is complete and we know you are satisfied with it.
All communication is typically done via email.
During the design process, prompt communication is necessary. Ideally, you should check and reply to any emails from us within 72 hours. If we don’t hear from you for over 1 week (without a prior explanation), your project may be put on hold.
If your design requires any graphics, specialty fonts, etc. from outside sources, the cost of said elements will be added to your bill.
In order to install your blog/web design, we may need various login information. Any and all information shared with us will be kept completely confidential and deleted after work on your project is complete.
After completion of your design, you are welcome to contact us at any time with any technical questions you may have. Any advanced changes are subject to charge. Basic support is included with your purchase. Regarding advanced changes, see ‘Design Updates’ below.
Should you want to update your design at any point after completion, we would be happy to accommodate that. Contact us and we will discuss details depending on the complexity of your requested revisions. All returning clients receive a 20% discount.
