I recently finished working on a design for Linda at Spiral of Wonder. This was a brand new site, so I worked with Linda to create a logo and and a coordinating website/blog. I hada lot of fun working on this design and I think the end product turned out great.
Linda really wanted to use earthy colors, namely red and purple, and she liked the idea of galaxy images or other natural symbols. With that in mind, I created a few initial logo concepts.
Linda liked concept #2 the best, but she wanted to see if a spiral could be tied in and also play around with the shape, so we did a round of revisions.
#2 was the winner! Once we had settled on the logo, I worked on website concepts. I created 2 for her to look at and choose between:
She loved concept #2, so we went with that, making a few adjustments from there. The design is very clean, with lots of white space, allowing the images to take the spotlight without things looking cluttered. Here’s the final product:
I created a design board for Spiral of Wonder, which you can check out below. (Pin in easily by hovering over it!)
